Opportunities for excursions and walks are numerous among the hills, countryside, woods and pinewoods stretching as far as the sea.
Several tours of particular interest to take on foot, by bicycle or on horseback are the Bolgherese road and the Avenue of cypress
trees, or the 3km promenade along the beach at Marina di Castagneto.
The "Antica Campigliese" (Old Campiglia), "Sentiero dei Molini" (The Mill Trail) and "Sentiero delle Sorgenti" (The Springs Trail)
tours, which vary in distance and degree of difficulty, are an excellent way to enjoy the scenery and the flourishing vegetation,
and to see interesting historical sites and ancient settlements such as the charcoal pits.
